The Ping G25 fairway woods are built for golfers who place a good deal of importance on forgiveness, coupled with lots of distance and help getting the ball into the air. PING has taken its construction techniques to new extremes in order to improve performance in the G25 fairway. Carefully designed weighting properties and face thickness provide improved launch conditions so you get the most out of your fairway wood. The low and back center of gravity is ideally place for a high-launching ball flight. The face height and thickness allow shots missed low on the face to still get up in the air with plenty of carry. The large, high-MOI clubhead means that miss-hits twist the clubhead off-line less, resulting in more accuracy across the face. The thin face also means more distance on off-center shots, making this a very high-forgiveness fairway wood.
Extreme Face Thickness Variation
These woods have Ping’s thinnest faces to date, and thickness varies so that every part of the face transfers maximum energy generates a high level of ball speed.
External Sole Weighting
A weight in the rear of the sole not only lowers the club’s center of gravity, but also minimizes the amount of twisting the clubhead does on miss-hits.
Low Profile
The clubhead has a large footprint but a shallower (shorter) face, keeping your shots in the hitting zone and helping get shots missed low up into the air.
